Sullivan freshman Lane Gilbert won the semistate championship in the 113-pound weight class and Terre Haute South senior Brendan McPike also earned advancement to the state finals for the first time ever by placing fourth in the 132 class during wrestling action Saturday inside Ford Center.
Twenty-one high school wrestlers, including 10 from Terre Haute South, will try to keep their dreams alive today by competing in the Evansville Reitz Semistate at Ford Center.
