The Indiana Gaming Commission on Wednesday released additional information on the four proposals by companies contending for the Vigo County casino license, including where the companies say they would locate their casino should they win the license.

If a gaming referendum is approved in the Nov. 5 election, a Vigo County casino is to pay distributions to local government from two taxes, plus pay annually into a local development agreement, with its disbursement to be negotiated. The largest payment is from a wagering tax - estimated to be about $4.6 million. This will go to the city of Terre Haute, if a casino is inside the city limits.
