Farmersburg resident Darrell Case has won a 2020 Author Elite Award in the Mystery category for his book, "Never Ending Spring." Case was announced the winner at this year’s Online Experiential Author Elite Awards ceremony hosted from the Hilton Columbus/Polaris in Columbus, Ohio.

Parke County writer and Terre Haute Tribune-Star columnist Mike Lunsford’s seventh collection of stories, “This Old World,” was released by Shade Tree Press in October. Many of Lunsford’s stories, virtually all published as his “Off Season” and “Sidelines” newspaper columns, have been re-worked into six previous books, the most recent being “Field Notes and Other Stories” (2017).

The Wabash River, as it flows past Fairbanks Park, creates a unique opportunity that Wabash Valley Crew say could become a new sporting and tourism attraction with an annual rowing regatta. To help glide that concept into a reality, the rowing group formed in 2016, has turned to Arshay Cooper, a champion rower, a member of USRowing board of directors, and author of “Suga Water: A Memoir," published in 2015.
