Margaret Hancock Johns Webber passed away Feb. 5, 2012, in Tiffany Heights Nursing home in Mound City, Mo. She was born April 2, 1916, to John Wesley and Ora Hayne Hancock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Webber; a son, Leroy Johns; and a son-in-law, Richard Foote.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Johns and wife Gale of Aurora Grande, Calif., and Bill Johns and wife Karen of Lady Lake, Fla.; two daughters, Rose Marie Foote of Fairbanks, Ind., and Georgia Ann Jeffers and husband Kenneth of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; sister-in-law, Betty Johns; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Christian Church in Mound City. She retired after 10 years service with Kramer Chair Company in Kansas City, Kan. Margaret and her husband were caretakers at the Pierson Farm in Mound City. She will be sadly missed.
Cremation was chosen with private graveside services at Roselawn Cemetery in Terre Haute. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to Kendallwood Hospice 2908 Northwest Vivion Road, Riverside, MO. 64150.
