Dallas Osman, 90, of Terre Haute passed away at 11:14 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in Union Hospital. He was born Jan. 11, 1918, in Dongola, Ill. to Roy Osman and Ethel Beggs Osman. He retired from Modern Album as a machine operator.

He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn F. Davis and husband Allen B. Davis of Kathleen, Ga.; sister, Vernetta Acuff of Bourbonnais, Ill.; brothers, Harold Dean Osman of Bourbonnais, and Donald Lee Osman of Kankakee, Ill.; grandchildren, Kevin Davis and wife Debi of Terre Haute, Deidre Wells and husband Bill of Kathleen; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vena Corzine Osman, in 1985; his parents and two brothers, Orwin and Chellis Osman.

He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church.

Memorial services are 6 p.m. Friday at Gospel Assembly Church, 401 West Springhill Drive in Terre Haute with the Rev. D. L. Dycus officiating. For those who attend the memorial service at the church, a meal will be served. Burial will take place at Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola.
