Alexis A. Moore, 19, of Terre Haute, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in Methodist Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Alexis was born April 14, 1989, in Charleston, Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Lisa Luppens Moore. She was a college freshman attending University of Southern Indiana, a 2007 graduate of South Vigo High School, a camp counselor for Diabetes Youth Association, a member of D.E.C.A., and a member of Chances for Youth.

Survivors include her parents; brothers and sisters, James P. Moore, Tiffany A. Moore, Joseph A. Moore and Tommy Moore, all of Terre Haute; her fiancé, Logan Henry of Madison; paternal grandfather, Joseph Moore Jr. of Paris Ill.; maternal grandfather, James Luppens of New York; aunts and uncles, Joanne Slater, Raymond and Becky Moore, all of Paris, James and Lilianne Luppens, Margaret Terrible, Ed Terrible, Tom and Desiree Aiello, Keith and Jennifer Luppens, all of New York; nephew, Anthony Moore; and many special cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Luppens; and paternal grandmother, Florence Moore.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Darvin Winter officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends in Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, 4 to 8 p.m. today.
