Ivy Tech Terre Haute will host an event to provide information on career training programs for those considering a career change from 3:30 to 5 p.m. June 11 at the community college,  8000 S. Education Drive.

Attendees will learn how Ivy Tech short-term training programs like certificates allow career-changers to train to enter a new job quickly. Certificates can be completed in less than one year, or four to seven classes on average.

Students can earn Ivy Tech certificates to learn specific skills in-demand by employers.

Because Ivy Tech certificates count toward associate degrees, students can potentially start entry-level careers while completing their degrees, for further career advancement.

To RSVP, to attend or to request information, contact Amanda Cox at acox87@ivytech.edu or 812-298-2232.

Completing an application is the first step to learn more about Ivy Tech programs. Apply online at ivytech.edu/applynow or visit Ivy Tech Terre Haute main campus.
