Four more criminal charges have been filed against a Vigo County man at the center of a child molestation, exploitation and pornography investigation.
Three of the new charges against Thomas William Julian, 68, Pimento, are of child exploitation and one is of possession of child pornography. They were recently filed in Vigo Superior Court 3.
Those charges are in addition to 17 others of child molesting, child exploitation and child solicitation that were filed against Julian in July 2014.
Indiana State Police arrested Julian at his home in June 2014 after a search warrant revealed items related to child pornography and its production. Julian initially faced three counts of child exploitation and one count of possession of child pornography, after police received a tip alleging that Julian was producing child pornography in his home.
After later identifying additional alleged victims, state police added charges of child molestation and additional counts of child exploitation, child solicitation and possession of child pornography.
Julian remained in the Vigo County Jail. His bail in the three separate cases add up to $95,000 with no 10 percent allowed.
He is now facing an Oct. 18 trial in one case featuring 15 felony counts. Judge David R. Bolk issued an order this week that sets a second trial for Julian on Oct. 15 and a third on Nov. 15 to resolve all three cases.
Julian will next return to court on Sept. 26 for a pre-trial conference.
Anyone with information about Julian or who believes they or someone they know is a victim is urged to contact Detective Tony Guinn at ISP’s Putnamville Post at 765-653-4114.
