Students of Northview High School in Brazil were evacuated from the building after a phoned-in bomb threat, officials confirmed Monday afternoon.

The threat was called in around 11:30 a.m., and investigators from the Clay County Sheriff’s Department responded.

A spokesman for the department said they were not prepared to issue information related to the incident yet, as an investigation is under way.

No bombs or other contraband material were found in the school, according to Sheriff’s Department dispatchers.

The evacuated high-school students were taken to North Clay Middle School until the investigation was concluded, then returned to Northview.
