Purdue Cooperative Extension Service will offer a Tree Pruning Workshop from 5 to 6:30 p.m. July 17 at the Brentlinger Shelter in Fowler Park. The workshop is limited to the first 20 Vigo County participants to reserve by the July 15 deadline.
Adam Grossman, Vigo County Parks and Recreation superintendent, will discuss why pruning is important and how to prune. Robert Bruner will cover what to do after identifying severe insect damage on trees.
During the workshop trees will be pruned. Sheers will be provided for each participant.
A program fee of $20 (cash or check) is required before the start of the program.
