The Brazil Concert Band will present Father’s Day Delights at 8 p.m. Sunday, rain or shine, in Forest Park at Brazil.

Conducting this week is John Philip Huber, who teaches elementary music at North Central Park in Rockville and Turkey Run. He also is a band director at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

In honor of Father’s Day, the BCB will perform “An Irish Rhapsody” by Clare Grundman; “Folk Song Suite” by Ralph Vaughan Williams; “Themes From Offenbach” by Clair Johnson; “Mary Poppins,” arranged by Alfred Reed; and “Russian Sailors’ Dance,” arranged by Wally Johnson.

Also, “A Slavic Farewell,” arranged by John Bourgeois, “Colonel Bogey” by Kenneth Alford, “Murat Temple Band” by Fred Jewell, “Miami” by Henry Fillmore and “On Parade” by John Philip Sousa.

This week, Bee Ridge Church will serve a variety of tasty delights sure to please dad at the Forest Park Concession Stand.
