Schisler-Black
Amanda Sue Schisler and Brent William Black were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sept. 23, 2006, in Ripley Church of God in Ripley, Ill.
The Rev. Sherwin Williams officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Patty Davis of Rushville, Ill. She has a bachelor of science degree in clinical laboratory science, and is a medical technologist.
The bridegroom is the son of Lance and Connie Black of Rushville. He has a degree from Motorcycle and Marine Institute in Orlando, Fla., and is a service technician at Wabash Valley Harley-Davidson.
The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather, Dale Davis.
Amy Swan, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Lara Black, sister of the bridegroom, and Jamie Logsdon were bridesmaids.
John Black, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Grayson Waters and Jarrod Sheets. Kevin Shelts and Kent Prather, cousins of the bridegroom, were ushers.
Flower girl was Allison Prather, cousin of the bride.
A reception followed in The Virginia at Scripps Park.
The couple took a wedding cruise to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, Aruba and Puerto Rico, and now reside in Terre Haute.
Lee-Coker
Carmen Lynn Lee and Terry Russell Coker were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 30, 2006, in Krietenstein American Legion Post 104 at Terre Haute.
Travis Davis provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lee. She is employed by Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry L. Coker. He is a firefighter.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Nicole Covert was honor attendant. Stacy Pecka and Tonya Trout were bridesmaids.
Douglas Smith Jr. was best man. Kevin Price and Chad Buddle were groomsmen. Ryan Buddle and Matthew Trout were ushers.
Delaney Trout was flower girl. Cameron Trout was ringbearer.
A reception followed in Krietenstein American Legion.
The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii and now reside in Terre Haute.
Fagan-James
Erin Michelle Fagan and Aaron Paul James were united in marriage Oct. 28, 2006, in St. Paul Catholic Center at Bloomington.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Carol Fagan of Newburgh.
The bridegroom is the son of the Rev. Myron and Sharon James of Center Point.
A reception will be 2 to 5 p.m. today in Center Point United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
Hill-Thompson
Holly Lea Hill and Scott Lee Ferlita Thompson were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 11, 2006, in the Oldest House, also known as the Gonzales-Alvarez House, built in 1715, owned and operated by the St. Augustine Historical Society at St. Augustine, Fla.
The Rev. Michael-Paul Ruche officiated. Mary Jane Ballou, harpist, provided music.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Hill. She has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Flagler College in St. Augustine. She is an assistant director of college relations at Flagler.
The bridegroom is the son of Dale Thompson and Evelyn Thompson of Tampa, Fla. He has a bachelor of arts degree in art history and fine arts from Flagler College. He is an architectural designer and head blacksmith at Wonderland Products in Jacksonville, Fla.
Kerri Carlyon was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Heather Hill, sister of the bride, Nancy Thompson, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Claudia Dencer, and Lauren Thompson, sister of the bridegroom.
Brian Thompson, brother of the bridegroom, and George Dencer were best men. Christopher Wooden and Zachary Hoereth, cousins of the bride, were ushers.
Twins Parker and Nolan Sinclair of Brownsburg were ringbearers.
A shower was hosted by Kerri Carlyon and Kerri Skinner on July 29. A second shower was hosted on Aug. 5 in Providence Center at St. Mary-of-the-Woods by Debbie Thompson and Jeannine Hill, aunts of the bride, Betty Williams, grandmother of the bride, and Jennifer Hoereth, Julie Sinclair and Stacey Wooden, cousins of the bride.
A reception followed in the Historical Llambias House Gardens at St. Augustine. A second reception is planned for Dec. 29 in the Ohio Building at Terre Haute.
The couple took a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C. A trip to England is planned for next summer. The couple now reside in St. Augustine.
