Weddings: Nov. 18, 2007
Brown-Myers
Jennifer Marie Brown of Terre Haute and Phillip Spencer Myers of Dana were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 2007, in the First Baptist Church in Terre Haute.
The Rev. Linda Snider officiated. Marilyn Fisher, pianist, provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Rebecca Brown of Terre Haute. She works in the radiology department at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Ind.
Myers is the son of Phillip and Cynthia Myers of Dana. He works for Premier Boxboard Limited in Cayuga.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Jody Wymer and Jamie Drake, sister of the bride, were honor attendants. Stevie Crowley and Amanda Gotee were bridesmaids.
Rodney Roberts was best man. Billy Richardson, Kevin Baraushak and David Montgomery, uncle of the bride, were groomsmen.
Ryan Brown, brother of the bridegroom, Brandon Ballard, cousin of the bridegroom, and Richard Montgomery, cousin of the bride, were ushers.
Izabella and Gracie Drake, and Kailynn Pate were flower girls.
Showers were given by Jamie Drake, sister of the bride.
A reception followed in the Zorah Shrine Temple in Terre Haute.
The couple took a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, and Orlando, Fla., and now reside in Indianapolis.
Brentlinger-Livers
Abby Marie Brentlinger and Sean Timothy Livers were united in marriage Oct. 13, 2007, on the beach in Clearwater, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Tony and Sue Brentlinger of Terre Haute. She graduated with a master’s degree from Indiana State University and is a teacher for the Vigo County School Corp.
Livers is the son of David and Mary Livers of Lafayette. He is a graduate of Purdue University and works remotely for Black Board Inc., an educational software company based in Washington, D.C.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Erin Brentlinger of Terre Haute, sister of the bride, and Jared Brentlinger of Greencastle, twin brother of the bride, were honor attendants.
Michael Timko of Spencer was best man. Ian Livers of Lafayette was groomsman.
The couple now reside in Terre Haute.
Weir-Norris
Rachel Elizabeth Weir and Donald Wesley Norris were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Oct. 15, 2007, at Chapel in the Glen, a mountainside rustic log chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The Rev. Mike Simpson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Cindy Weir of Prairieton. She is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a 1999 graduate of Ball State University in Muncie. She also studied abroad in Lincolnshire, England, and now teaches for the Vigo County School Corp.
Norris is the son of Connie and Floyd Cooper Jr. of Terre Haute. He is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and Ivy Tech Community College. He also attended Vincennes University and now works for Pepsico Services.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Melanie Culligan and Crystal Christner were honor attendants.
Tyler Norris, son of the bridegroom, was best man and ring bearer. Matthew Pitts was groomsman.
A dinner reception followed in the Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg.
A second reception in Terre Haute and a wedding trip to Hawaii are planned at a later date.
The couple now reside in Terre Haute.
