Hathaway-Porter
Eliza Renee Hathaway of Eugene and David Lee Porter of Dana were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2006, in Eugene United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Jon Overbey officiated and the Rev. Wendell Adams said a prayer of blessings. Music was provided by Gale Overbey, pianist, and Rae Martin, soloist.
The bride is the daughter of Gabe and Joetta Hathaway of Eugene.
The bridegroom is the son of Russell Porter of Cayuga and Deborah Showalter of Connersville.
Erica Wright, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Nicole Porter, Ashlee Vandevender, Heather Denhart and Emily Yoder.
Andy Long was best man. Groomsmen were Lance Cline, Brian Klein, Mickey Fuson and Brant Hathaway.
Flower girl was Makaylee Wright, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Gabriel Wright, nephew of the bride, and Cody Peters, cousin of the bridegroom.
The bride’s mother provided a limousine to take the couple to a reception in the American Legion Post. Jason Wright was the chauffeur.
The couple took a wedding trip to Ireland and now reside in Dana.
McMichael-Oellig
Reva Shayne McMichael and William Eric Oellig were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 2006, in Eastside Church of Christ in Terre Haute.
The Rev. Stephen Moore officiated. David Doles was vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Penny McMichael of Center Point. She is a 2004 graduate of Clay City High School, has completed two years of schooling at Indiana State University, and has transferred to Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute to complete her degree. She is employed by Advantage Plus FCU in Terre Haute and at the Brazil Grill.
The bridgroom is the son of Michael and Lori Oellig of Clinton. He is a 2005 graduate of Riverton Parke High School and plans to attend ISU in the spring. He is in management at McDonald’s in Clinton.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Samantha Knox was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Joselyn Sands, Michelle Oldham and Kara Holloway. Cassie Stemm was junior bridesmaid.
Josh Busenbark was best man. Groomsmen were Michael Oellig, Dylan Riggen, Jeff Kessinger and Tony McMichael. Ushers were Luke Blake, Jeff Reed and Anthony Gossett.
Flower girl was Amy Stemm. Dominic Cooksey was ring bearer.
Julie Blake was guest book attendant.
A reception and buffet dinner followed at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Recreation Area in Seelyville.
The couple took a cruise to the Bahamas and now reside in Clinton.
TenBrink–Tryon
Amanda Nicole TenBrink and Dusten Tryon, both of Anderson, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 12, 2006, in Maplewood Christian Church at Terre Haute.
The Rev. Craig Wininger officiated. Musicians were Rondrell Moore, Lucas Utterback, Bernie McGee and Michael Grubb.
The bride is the daughter of Philip and Mary Lou TenBrink. She is a 2004 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a junior at Anderson University, studying business management and public relations. She is a hostess at Red Lobster and a public relations associate for Anderson Media Group.
The bridegroom is the son of Ben and Debbie Tryon. He is a 2003 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and religious studies. He is a records manager in the alumni office at Anderson University and an assistant librarian for the Lapel branch of Anderson Public Library.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Emily TenBrink was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Casie Tryon and Rachel TenBrink.
Ben Biggerstaff was best man. Groomsmen were Wes Cook, Brian Cassada and Gerrit TenBrink.
Flower girl was Claire Hartl.
A reception followed in the Country Club of Terre Haute.
Debbie Tryon, Jane Kohr and Sharon Cordray were hostesses of a bridal shower.
The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and now reside in Anderson.
Servis–Sansom
Rochelle Servis of Terre Haute and Scott Sansom of Flint, Mich., were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Aug. 12, 2006, in Terre Haute First Church of the Nazarene.
The Rev. Mark Fleschner officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Renee Servis. She is a junior at Michigan University in Flint.
The bridegroom is the son of James and Dixie Sansom. He has a degree in secondary math education and is a high school math teacher.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Jenny Decker was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Sondra Lynn and Caitlin Dodson.
AJ Sansom was best man. Groomsmen were Tom Moore and Mark Fralic. Ushers were Eric Servis, the bride’s brother, and Brian Ackerson.
Flower girl was Brittney Kring. Ring bearer was Jacob Jackiewicz.
A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.
The couple reside in Flint, Mich.
