Ferris-Tarwater


Debra Ferris and Patrick Tarwater were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Oct. 1, 2007, in Breden Memorial Methodist Church in Terre Haute.

The Rev. David Deal officiated.

The bride is the daughter of the late Robert W. Ferris and Josephine Funk and the stepdaughter of Ronald D. Funk. She is a 2000 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School.

Tarwater is the grandson of Larry and Thelma Hayne of Terre Haute and is a self-employed floor installer.

Gabrielle Tarwater, daughter of the bridegroom, read a poem she wrote for the couple.

The couple plan a wedding trip at a later date and now reside in Terre Haute.



Maras-McCullough


Tammy Maras and Doug McCullough were united in marriage Sept. 22, 2007, beside the pond at the home of Jill and Scott Francis in Terre Haute.

The Rev. John Lawson officiated.

Terri Wallace was honor attendant.

David McCullough, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

A reception followed in the Moose Lodge in Clinton.

The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii and now reside in Terre Haute.



Lucas-Baugh


Linda M. Lucas and William E. Baugh of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26, 2007, in the Berean Baptist Church in Terre Haute

The Rev. Larry Lilly officiated.



Khakoo-Mausel


Farahnaaz Khakoo and Justin Mausel were united in marriage Sept. 1, 2007, in the Hamilton Crowne Plaza Hotel in Washington D.C.

The Rev. Mary Kay Totty officiated the Christian, Indian-Muslim ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hassanali of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She is a graduate of Forest Hills High School in Forest Hills, N.Y., and of the University of North Texas. She completed her doctorate in public policy and political economy at the University of Texas in Dallas and is now employed by the Government Accountability Office in Washington, D.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Mausel of Terre Haute. He is a 1995 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a 2000 graduate of Indiana University. He completed his doctorate in public policy and political economy at the University of Texas in Dallas and also will be employed in Washington, D.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Farzana Ramzan of New York City, and cousin of the bride, was honor attendant.

Salima Oines of Minneapolis, and sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Sasha and Sonia Oines, nieces of the bride, were junior bridesmaid and flower girl respectively.

Aliyah Lewis, cousin of the bride, also was flower girl.

Mike Clouser of Dallas and formerly of Terre Haute was best man.

Brandon Mausel of Fort Worth, Texas, and brother of the bridegroom, was groomsman. Timmy and Carter Herrin, both of Terre Haute, and nephews of the bridegroom, were junior groomsman and ring bearer respectively.

Reading passages during the ceremony were Suzanne McCafferty, Esther Walker, Neeshma Datoo, Nadir Gaziani, Jameel Karim, Zahra Lewis and Zulfikar Ramzan.

A dinner reception followed in the hotel.

The couple took a wedding trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and to the island of St. Martin/St. Maarten. They now reside in Silver Spring, MD, just outside Washington, D.C.



Parsley-Barker


Brittnie Gail Parsley and James Delveceo Barker were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 22, 2007, in Calvary Temple Church in Terre Haute.

The Rev. Kevin Barnes officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis Parsley and Lisa Parsley of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a medical assistant major at Indiana Business College. She also is a house manager for Community Connections Inc.

Barker is the son of James Barker of Bowling Green, Ky., and Sharon Henderson of Terre Haute. He is a graduate of Terre Haute South and works for Great Dane Trailors in Terre Haute.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Brandy Cottrell was honor attendant. Loni Wilson and Daisha Barker were bridesmaids.

Lee Hickey was best man. Josh Woodcock and Paul Johnson were groomsmen.

Travis Parsley and Michael Shots were ushers.

Jena Bones was flower girl. Braden Barker was ring bearer.

A reception followed in American Legion Post 340.

The couple now reside in Terre Haute.



Jackson-Seal


Jamie Jackson and Clint Seal were united in marriage Sept. 22, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in St. Benedict Catholic Church.

The Rev. Joseph Kern officiated. Crossroads Brass provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Dana Jackson of Crawfordsville and Charles Jackson Jr. and Jill Jackson of Terre Haute. She is a 1998 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana University. She works in marketing administration for Wells Fargo.

Seal is the son of Victoria Seal of Indianapolis and the late Al Seal. He is a 1999 graduate of Cathedral High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana University. He is a broker for Charles Schwab.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Ainsley Piel of Noblesville was honor attendant. Jessica Smiley of Indianapolis, Kyla Buccilla of Columbus, Ohio, and JoAnn Seal of Greenwood, were bridesmaids.

Kenny Hughes of Indianapolis was best man. Luke Isenbarger of Indianapolis, Bret Angelucci of Lexington, Ky., and Alex Carrasquer of Louisville, Ky., were groomsmen.

Tyler Seal of Indianapolis and Charles Jackson III of Terre Haute were ushers.

Lidy McCarty was flower girl. Logan, Evan and Cale McCarty were ring bearers.

A reception followed in Terre Haute Brewing Co.

The couple now resides in Indianapolis.
