Wedding: Oct. 28, 2007

Hoopengarner-Hummel


Casey Hoopengarner and Clayton Hummel were united in marriage at 11 a.m. Sept. 15, 2007, in St. Joseph’s University Parish.

The Rev. Richard Kaley officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Susan and Max Hoopengarner of Terre Haute. She is a 2006 graduate of Indiana State University and is employed by Union Hospital.

Hummel is the son of Craig and Madonna Hummel of Terre Haute. He is a 2000 graduate of Vincennes University and is employed by Moore Langen Printing Co.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maggie Hummel was honor attendant. Carley Hoopengarner and Clair Hummel were bridesmaids.

Jay Tapy was best man. Doug Detoff and Chuck Savio were groomsmen.

Zack Morgan and Sam Mikeworth were ushers. Olivia Hummel was flower girl.

Grant and Matt Stamper were ring bearers. The bridegroom’s father and Margaret Dettoff were lectors.

A brunch reception followed in the Holiday Inn.

A bridal shower in the Holiday Inn was given by the honor attendant and bridesmaids.

The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and now reside in Terre Haute.

Lanning-Carney


Joanie Lynn Lanning of Terre Haute and Christopher Shane Carney of Anderson were united in marriage at 2:48 p.m. Sept. 22, 2007, in Dobbs Memorial Park.

The Rev. Fred H. Burk of Seelyville officiated.

The bride is the daughter of John and Earlene Lanning and Evelyn Lanning.

Carney is the son of Gaynell and Donald Lankford and the late Thomas Carney.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Mary Roman, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Earlene Lanning, stepmother of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Scott Lanning, brother of the bride, was best man. Kevin, Chuck, Tom, Ron and Shawn Carney, all brothers of the bridegroom, and Bradley Calloway were groomsmen.

Keegan and Jassmine, the couple’s children, were ring bearers.

A reception took place in the home of the wedding planner on 19th and Hulman streets.

Trinler-Walrath


Christa Scharmann Trinler and Wayne Keith Walrath were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 12, 2007, in Alumni Hall on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington.

The Rev. Warren Walrath, father of the bridegroom, officiated. Lila Michael and Greg Owens provided music.

The bride is the daughter of W.A. and Jacquelyn Trinler of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and Indiana University. She also is an actress and freelance production coordinator.

Walrath is the son of Janice Titzer of Evansville and Warren Walrath of Dimondale, Mich. He is a graduate of Harrison High School in Evansville and Indiana University. He owns and operates Acme Technologies.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Ann Testa was honor attendant. Alexandra Main was bridesmaid.

William Greenwood, second cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Brad Will was groomsman.

Scott Ketchum was usher.

Lorelei Pearl, the daughter of Lila Michael and Greg Owens, was flower girl. Morgan McCabe performed a special reading.

A reception followed in the Fountain Square Ballroom in Bloomington.

The couple now resides in the Catskill Mountains in Phoenicia, N.Y.
