Allen-Bates

Lauren Elizabeth Allen of Batavia, Ill., and Justin Michael Bates of Carmel, Ind., were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m., June 13, 2009, in Batavia Christian Church at Batavia.

Dan Fields officiated. Lisa Allen, Megan Meadors and Kaleena McCormick provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Julee and Terry Allen of Batavia. She is a graduate of Batavia High School and Indiana State University. She is a registered nurse at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

The bridegroom is the son of Jerilyn and Howard Bates of Carmel. He is a graduate of Carmel High School and Ball State University. He is employed as a certified public accountant.

Lisa Allen, twin sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Lorin and Kristin Bates, sisters of the bridegroom, and Megan Meadors, Kaleena McCormick, Erin Cheever and Alexa Montgomery were bridesmaids.

Peyman Roshidfarokhi and Chris Clemens were best men. Robby Allen, brother of the bride, and Jon Weaver, Matt Sauter, Keven McCanna and Kyle Thomas were groomsmen.

Madeline Lecklider, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Dillon Potts, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

Jim Vandy and Rob Gough were ushers. Herb Bates, grandfather of the bridegroom, and Loree Thompson, aunt of the bride, were readers.

Erin Gildea, cousin of the bride, designed the programs. Jackie Allen, and Shannon and Katie Gildea, cousins of the bride, were program attendants.

Scotty Thompson and Matthew Allen, cousins of the bride, handed out bubbles.

A dinner and dance reception followed in Drury Lane at Oak Brook Terrace, Ill.

The bride’s attendants hosted bridal showers in Indiana and Illinois.

The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia in the Caribbean and now reside in Fishers, Ind.
