Weddings: Sept. 27, 2009

Kester-Pirtle

Kylee Ann Kester and Joshua James Pirtle, both of Terre Haute, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. June 19, 2009, in Whitefield Chapel at Savannah, Ga.

Antwain Turner officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gay Ann and Marc Weaver, and Keith and Linda Kester, all of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in insurance and risk management and in business administration. She is an excess and surplus lines broker for Benchmark Management Group at Naperville, Ill.

The bridegroom is the son of Yvette and Charlie Holloway of Coloma, Mich., and Robin and Jim Pirtle of Sullivan. He is a graduate of ISU with a bachelor of science degree in business management, and is a detective with the Terre Haute Police Department.

The bride was given in marriage by Marc Weaver.

Tessa Thompson of Bedford was honor attendant. Lacey Heaton of Terre Haute and Shannon Gerig of Hebron, Ky. were bridesmaids.

Joey Harris of Fort Meryers Beach, Fla. was best man. Dusty Arnett and Jerrad Pirtle both of Sullivan were groomsmen.

Kaleb Kester was usher. Makynzie Gerig was the flower girl.

Conrad Weaver was ring bearer.

A reception followed at The Olde Pink House.

The couple took a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C. and now reside in Terre Haute.



Crowder-Patterson

Margaret Louise Crowder and Herbert Patterson, both of Terre Haute, were united in marriage Saturday, July 18, 2009, in the First Presbyterian Church at Sullivan.

The Rev. Paul McClasson officiated.
