Newton-McFadden
Anne Newton and Lane McFadden of Washington, D.C., were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, in the Washington Club at Washington.
The honorable Francis M. Allegra of the United States Court of Federal Claims officiated. Jeremy Freer and Melissa Williams, both of Arlington, Va., and Amanda Shafer of Washington D.C., provided the music.
The bride is the daughter of John and Kim Newton of Terre Haute and Lesley Newton of Avon. She is a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, a 1999 graduate of Indiana State University and a 2003 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. She will begin work in October as a staff attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, in Washington, D.C.
McFadden is the son of Vivian McFadden of Rock Hill, S.C., and Clyde McFadden of Lancaster, S.C. He is a 1994 graduate of Northwestern High School in Rockhill, a 1998 graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College and 2002 graduate of New York University Law School. He is an appellate attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resource Division, in Washington, D.C.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father.
Sara McCool of Terre Haute was honor attendant.
Katherine Newton of Avon, sister of the bride, and Christy Freer of Arlington were bridesmaids.
Grant McFadden of Los Angeles, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
David Lyon of Columbia, S.C., and Brent Meltzer of Brooklyn, N.Y., were ushers.
Colleen Carr Jarrott of New Orleans, Stephanie Potts of San Diego and Christina Eslinger of Fishers, cousin of the bride, were greeters.
Katherine Loh of Dallas and Melissa Williams of Arlington were guest book attendants.
Eric Albert, Lucy Newton and Evan Zoldan, all of Washington, D.C., were readers.
A family reception took place in Terre Haute.
The couple took a wedding trip to Thailand and now reside in Washington, D.C.
Lugar-Clark
Jordan Rochelle Lugar of Terre Haute and Bradley Ryan Clark of Elkhart were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Aug. 18, 2007, in Northside Church of Nazarene at Elkhart.
Lane Fosnaugh officiated. Music was provided by vocalists Stephanie Fleschner, Jordan Lugar and Randy Clark, father of the bridegroom.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Robyn Lugar of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in theater, and a dance instructor in Decatur.
Clark is the son of Randy and Peggy Clark of Elkhart. He is a graduate of ISU with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and is employed by DRG Publishing in Berne.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Katherine Lugar and Brooke Weaver were honor attendants. Stephanie Fleschner, Ashley Wolfe and Amanda Kiker were bridesmaids.
Josh Hile was best man. Glen Weaver, John Velten, Adam Jurs, Cole Burns, Jared Manago and Mattheu Lugar were groomsmen.
A reception followed at Eby Pines.
The couple took a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, and now reside in Fort Wayne.
