Cassidy-Stroot
Sarah Rae Cassidy and Jason Paul Stroot of Rosedale were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 2, 2007, in Terre Haute Bible Center.
The Rev. Jerry Nash officiated. The vocalist was Ceceilia Gray and the reader was Jessica Haney.
The bride is the daughter of Rayna Cassidy of West Terre Haute. She is a 1997 graduate of West Vigo High School, a 2004 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College and an administrative assistant with First Financial Bank.
The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Judi Stroot of Terre Haute. He is a 1994 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a sales service representative with Cintas.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother.
Adrienne Boyles, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Corrine Owen, cousin of the bride, and Kelly Turner. Junior bridesmaid was Sophie Owen, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Sarah Gosnell, cousin of the bridegroom.
Jason Gropp was best man. Groomsmen were James Stroot, brother of the bridegroom, and Denny Sluder. Junior groomsman was Joe Gray, cousin of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Jayton Owen, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Zack Sears, cousin of the bridegroom, and Brentin Owen, cousin of the bride.
A buffet dinner and dance followed in Krietenstein American Legion Post 104.
The couple took a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, and now reside in Rosedale.
Goodwin-Nation
Jenny Goodwin and Todd Nation were united in marriage June 27, 2007, during an evening ceremony on the beach on Florida’s St. George Island.
The bride is the daughter of Dorothy and the late Max Goodwin of Terre Haute. She attends Indiana State University College of Nursing.
The bridegroom is the son of Fred and Nancy Nation of Terre Haute. He owns BookNation and is a city councilman representing Terre Haute District 4.
Family members at the ceremony and reception included the bride’s children, Ben, Rachel and Meghan Forbes.
The couple took a wedding trip to Grand Bahama Island and now reside in the Farrington’s Grove area.
