Gill-Schettler
Sarah Marie Gill and William Schettler were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 9, 2007, in the Presbyterian Church at Paris, Ill.
The Rev. Rodger Allen officiated. Vocalists were Tim Janecke, Jeremy Landig and Libby Landig. Curtis Schettler played the trumpet and Dr. Bruce Gibbons played piano and organ.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Gary Gill and Sally Gill of Paris. She is a 1992 graduate of Paris High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in music from Millikin University in 1996 and a master’s degree in music in 1998-99 from the University of North Texas. She also received a doctorate in music from Florida State University in 2002. She is employed by the University of New Orleans.
The bridegroom is the son of Stanley and Mary Schettler of El Paso, Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of North Texas in 1999 and a master’s degree in music from the Manhattan School of Music in 2001. He is employed with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Honor attendant was Linda Bonness. Bridesmaids were Libby Landig, Jenifer Fraley and Jennifer Sholtis. The flower girl was Ainsley Martin.
Best man was Curtis Schettler. Groomsmen were Steven Schettler, Jason Gill and Craig Butterfield. Ushers were Steven Schettler and Jason Gill.
Greeters were Heather Hansen, Macy Furry and Alexandria Sholtis. Cake cutters were Shelby Elmore, Alta Corey and Katie Havercroft.
A dinner and dance reception took place in The Ohio Building.
Libby Stevens and Sally Gill were hostesses of a bridal shower on March 17 in Paris. Noel Archambeault also gave a bridal shower on April 22 in Kingsville, Texas,.
The couple took a wedding trip to San Francisco and now reside in New Orleans.
Peebles-Medina
Heather Peebles and Jamin Medina were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 19, 2007, at Thousand Trails Horseshoe Lakes Preserve near St. Bernice. A reception followed at Thousand Trails.
The Rev. Terry Medina officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Brad and Tina Peebles of Dana. She is a student of early childhood education at Ivy Tech Community College.
Medina is the son of Terry and Rhonda Medina of Portland, Ore. He is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Honor attendant was Erin Clifford. Bridesmaids were Sarah Guinn and Angie Jenkins. The flower girl was Natana Boldizsar.
Best man was Matt Boldizsar. Groomsmen were Kevin Nickels and Vince Marietta. Ushers were Leroy Decker and Tyler Peebles. The ring bearer was Christopher Torrence.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Okinawa, Japan.
Jones-Evrard
Lindsey Danielle Jones of Terre Haute and Clinton Nathaniel Evrard of Washington were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 9, 2007, in Maryland Community Church.
Vince McFarland officiated. A reception took place in the Holiday Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Diana Jones. She is a student of molecular biology at the University of Maine.
Evrard is the son of James and Janice Evrard. He is a doctoral student of physics at the University of Maine.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Honor attendant was Nichole Jones. Bridesmaids were Robyn Lohse, Christi Brewer, Ashley Edington, Kassie Thompson and Missie Thompson. The flower girl was Cayleigh Brewer.
Best man was James Evrard. Groomsmen were Chad Brewer, Justin O’Connor, Patrick J. O’Connor, Carl J. O’Connor and Mark O’Connor. The ring bearers were Jace and Jordan Ross. Ushers were Justin O’Connor and David Spalla.
The couple took a wedding trip to France and now reside in Orono, Maine.
