Hooker-Harbrueger

Bobbie Hooker and Joshua Harbrueger were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. June 30, 2007, at the home of the bride’s father in Brazil.

Terre Haute City Clerk Chuck Hanley officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Louis Hooker and Linnie Archer. She is a licensed practical nurse at Meadows Manor North in Terre Haute.

The bridegroom is the son of Richard Harbrueger and Ruth Price. He works in the maintenance department of the Vigo County School Corp.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jenilee Hooker was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Rachell Taylor, Mary Lantz, Karry Nail and Karrisa Nord. Flower girls were Alexis Guire and Kaylee Anderson.

Best man was Cory Roberts. Groomsmen were Matt Guire, Travis Price, J.D. Carpentier, Jared Nord and Doc Barnett. Ring bearer was Lucas Harbrueger.

Ushers were Joey Taylor and Zachary Harbrueger.

A reception with dinner and dancing followed in the home of the bride’s father.



Arendt-Gedrick

Brooke Morgan Arendt and Beau Philip Gedrick were united in marriage at 5:15 p.m. April 1, 2007, in the Renaissance Hotel at Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The Rev. Kelly Nevius officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel Arendt of Plantation, Fla., and the late Mary W. Morgan. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biomedical science and is a medical school student at NOVA Southeastern University.

The bridegroom is the son of Chuck and Kathy Gedrick of Clinton. He graduated from Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is a medical school student at NOVA Southeastern University.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Honor attendant was Ashley Arendt, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Jessica Siegel, Carolyn Pfaff, Dawn Reitz and Allison Morgan. The flower girl was Tori Gardner, the bride’s cousin.

The best man was Chad Gedrick, the bridegroom’s brother. Groomsmen were R.J. Jovanovich, Chris Jatczak, Jamie Edwards and Jack Henniger. The ring bearer was Tyler Gardner, the bride’s cousin.

The reception was a semiformal dinner with dancing in the Renaissance Hotel ballroom.

A bridal shower in Pompano Beach, Fla., was hosted by Patty Morgan.

The couple went on a Celebrity Cruise to the Cayman Islands and Key West and now reside in Davie, Fla.



James-Bergdoll

Laura Elizabeth James and Jonathan James Bergdoll of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 3 p.m. June 3, 2007, in White Chapel at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Jack Fox officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Sandra James of Greenwood. She received her bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Indiana State University.

The bridegroom is the son of John Bergdoll and Louise Jones of Greenwood. He is studying biomedical engineering and electrical engineering at Rose-Hulman.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride’s honor attendant was Paulina Ballesteros. Bridesmaids were Heather Emery, Abby Retseck and Kahley Vergon. Junior bridesmaid was Samantha Jones. Flower girls were Bailey Jones and Madalyn Sailors.

The best man was Eric Brynsvold. Groomsmen were Scott Aikin, Drew Bowman and Kevin James.

Susan Willock and Kahley Vergon were hostesses of a bridal shower.

The couple took a wedding trip to New York City and now reside in Terre Haute.



Curts-Cornelius

Laurel Curts and Zachary Cornelius were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3, 2007, at St. Monica-St. George Catholic Church in Cincinnati.

The Rev. Al Hirt and Sister Jennifer Horner officiated. Pianist Bethany Riggs provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Pam Curts of Terre Haute. She is a 2001 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a 2005 and 2006 graduate of the University of Indianapolis. She is a registered nurse in surgical trauma at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

The bridegroom is the son of Keith and Carole Cornelius of Loveland, Ohio. He is a 2002 graduate of Milford High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He is a manager for a not-for-profit in Hamilton, Ohio.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The bridesmaids were Kim Spreen, Alli Pozeznik, Renee Booe, Rachel Leslie, Dawn Arnold and Jessi Jones.

Groomsmen were Matt Shryock, Matt Smith, Chris Pangallo, Lew Ross, Daniel Cornelius and Orion Fox.

Elizabeth Wiram and Andy Curts assisted with the guest book and programs.

A wedding reception with hors d’oeuvres and wine followed in Harmony Hall at Cincinnati.

The couple took a wedding trip to Hutchinson Island, Fla.
