Bakken-Swanberg
Anne Marie Bakken and Nathaniel James Swanberg, both of Minneapolis, will be united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007, in Wyerhaeuser Chapel at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.
Friends and relatives are invited.
The bride-elect is the daughter of George and Laura Bakken of Terre Haute. She is a 1998 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, a 2002 graduate of Macalester College, and employed by GN ReSound Hearing Technologies.
Swanberg is the son of Timothy and Barbara Swanberg of Detroit Lakes, Mich. He attended Macalester College and the University of Minnesota and is a consultant with Meritide Software Solutions.
Primus-Herb
Jillian Hortense Primus of Lawrenceville, Ill., and Jon Travis Herb of Terre Haute will be united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 7, 2007, in St. Francis Xavier Old Cathedral at Vincennes.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Robert and Mary Primus of Lawrenceville. She is a 2000 graduate of Rivet High School in Vincennes, and a 2006 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in school elementary education. She teaches elementary school for Burke County School Corp. in North Carolina.
Herb is the son of Rex and Brenda Herb of Rosedale. He graduated in 1998 from Terre Haute North Vigo High School, is a 2003 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in science education and teaches high school science for Burke County School Corp.
Ditteon-Duffy
Mary E. Ditteon of Columbus, Ohio, and David W. Duffy of Alexandria, Va., will be united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. July 21, 2007, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Richard and Margaret Ditteon of Terre Haute. She is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, graduated from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in education, and is a teacher for Licking Heights Local Schools in Pataskala, Ohio.
Duffy is the son of Gary and Mary Duffy of Phenix City, Ala. He is a 1999 graduate of Helias High School in Jefferson City, Mo., received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2003, and is a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
Wagenhoffer-Strader
Bethany Wagenhoffer and Timothy Strader of Brea, Calif., will be united in marriage on June 30, 2007, in Chapman Chapel at Orange, Calif.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wagenhoffer of Brea. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree, majoring in kinesiololgy, at California State University Northridge, and will play soccer in August with the Matador women’s soccer team.
Strader is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Olin Strader of Brazil. He is a 2003 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil, and recently graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in human development and a major in sport-recreation management. He served as assistant soccer coach for Northview High School from 2005-07 and at the Brazil YMCA as a soccer coordinator. He also is a senior community services leader for the city of Brea.
Bennett-Scott
Debra Jean Bennett and James R. Scott of Terre Haute will be united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on July 7, 2007, in Faithful Hearts Wedding Chapel.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Betty Benjamin of Terre Haute. She is employed at Sony DADC.
Scott is employed with International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 841.
Barnhart-Fagg
Connie Barnhart and Leonard Fagg of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 2 p.m. May 26, 2007, in Grace Temple.
David Fleetwood officiated.
The bride is employed by Learning Tree Montessori School.
The bridegroom is employed by Clinton Auto Parts.
Brenda Denny was honor attendant. Assistants were Mona Drake, Stacy Alkire and Stephanie Fagg.
Brian Fagg was best man. Ushers were Austin Fagg and Zach Alkire.
Lilly Pence was flower girl. The ring bearer was Jackson Pence.
Nicholas Kluemper was bellringer and Jacob Fagg assisted with the guest book.
A reception followed in the church.
The couple took a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains.
