Natalie Nobles and Craig R. Cottrell were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Nov. 18, 2006, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Terre Haute.
The Rev. Richard Kaley officiated. Organist/pianist Rosemary Shavloske and cantor/vocalist Becky Doti provided the music.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Nobles and Chaluay Nobles, all of Terre Haute. She is a 2002 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a veterinarian assistant and animal caretaker at Sullivan County Animal Hospital in Sullivan.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Cottrell of Terre Haute. He is a 2002 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, is pursuing a degree in computer systems analyst at Indiana State University, and serves in the Indiana Army National Guard, currently at Fort Benning, Ga. He will later advance to Fort Gordon, Ga., for advanced infantry training.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Anna Theresa Luken, the bridegroom’s cousin, and Heather Nicole Downs of Terre Haute were honor attendants. Kristol Leilani Hedden of Greensburg, the bride’s sister, and the bridegroom’s sisters Antoinette L’mour Orman of Avon, Nanette Lein Sheldon of Plainfield, Yvonne Lei Spittler and Michelle Lyn O’Rourke, both of Terre Haute, were bridesmaids..
Clint R. Cottrell of Terre Haute and Carl R. Cottrell II of Avon, the bridegroom’s brothers, were best men. Groomsmen were Brian Patrick Sheldon of Plainfield and Andrew Ryan Orman of Avon, the bridegroom’s brothers-in-law; Jason Earl Shafer of Evansville and Adam Joseph Luken of Terre Haute, bridegroom’s cousins; and Brandon Bowman of Indianapolis.
Gregory Keith Luken Jr. of Terre Haute, Ryan Christopher Royer of Marshall, Ill., and Evan Aaron Luken of Terre Haute, all bridegroom’s cousins, were ushers.
Flower girls were Sanabelle Larina Sheldon of Plainfield and Bria Monet Cottrell of Terre Haute, the bridegroom’s nieces; and Hakela Rose Morrison and Michaela Leleana Morrison of Greensburg, the bride’s nieces. Bayleigh Milan Cottrell of Terre Haute, the bridegroom’s niece, was junior flower girl.
Ring bearers were Sean Christopher O’Rourke II and Connor Michael O’Rourke of Terre Haute, Brian Patrick Sheldon II of Plainfield and Andrew Ryan Orman II of Avon, all bridegroom’s nephews.
Junior ring bearers were Isaac Alexander Sheldon of Plainfield; and Tyler Matthew Spittler of Terre Haute and August Ryan Orman of Avon, both bridegroom’s nephews.
Emily Rose Shafer of Bloomington, the bridegroom’s cousin, was guest book attendant and wedding line coordinator. Megan Christine Shafer and Amber Dawn Brooks of Terre Haute, the bridegroom’s cousins, were program attendants.
Amanda Nicole Brooks and Elizabeth Jean Shafer of Terre Haute, bridegroom’s cousins, were congratulation church bell distributors. Michelle Lyn O’Rourke of Terre Haute, the bridegroom’s sister, was wedding flower designer. Theresa Anne McCullough of Plainfield, the bridegroom’s maternal aunt, was wedding flower coordinator. Rebecca Anne Roshel of Terre Haute, the bridegroom’s cousin, was wedding bow coordinator. Lee Ann Cottrell of Avon, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law, was family videographer.
Readings during the Mass were given and family unity candles completed by Rita Sharon Cottrell, the bridegroom’s mother, and Roseline Puanani Nobles, the bride’s stepmother. The family memory candle was lit by the bride’s mother.
General intercessions at Mass were conducted by Mrs. Albert W. Luken Sr. of Terre Haute, the bridegroom’s maternal grandmother.
A Royal Disney Princess Wedding dinner reception and dance followed in Hulman Memorial Union at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Brittany Marie Cottrell of Terre Haute and Lee Ann Cottrell of Avon, the bridegroom’s sisters-in-law, were cake attendants.
Thank-you scrolls were delivered by Sanabelle Larina Sheldon and Bria Monet Cottrell, the bridegroom’s nieces.
The Music Man, Troy Bell of Terre Haute, provided music and Zachary Simpson of Terre Haute provided photography.
A bridal shower and luncheon tea were given by the bridegroom’s mother, sisters, sisters-in-law and nieces.
The rehearsal dinner reception took place in The Black Angus Restaurant with the bridegroom’s parents and restaurant owner Jim Jenkins as hosts.
The couple took a wedding trip to White Sands Hilton in Destin, Fla., and to Disneyworld Resort in Orlando, Fla.
