Correa—Mayer
Dr. Elizabeth Christine Correa and Michael Scott Mayer of Columbus, Ohio, were united in marriage on Saturday, April 21, 2007, in St. Gertrud’s Catholic Church in Madeira.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Juan J. Correa and Marina A. Correa of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Xavier University of Cincinnati and Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her doctor’s degree. She completed her residency at the University of Kentucky department of optomology in Lexington and practices optometry in Cincinnati.
The bridegroom is the son of Robert Mayer and Kay Mayer of Columbus. He also is a graduate of Xavier University, holds a master’s degree from Capitol University, and is a tax accountant for Huntington Bank in Columbus.
A reception followed in the Marriott Hotel in Mason, Ohio.
The couple will take a wedding trip to the Caribbean Island of St. Lucie, and will reside in Cincinnati.
Lemmon—Kirton
Brittany Renea Lemmon of Terre Haute and Toby Duane Kirton of Sullivan were united in marriage at 6 p.m. March 3, 2007, in the First Christian Church in Sullivan.
The Rev. David Cox officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Claudia and Terry Marratta of Terre Haute and Bruce and Cindy Lemon of Brazil. She has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and is employed by CSN, LLC as a human resource specialist.
The bridegroom is the son of Hollie and John McDonnall of Sullivan and Duane and Vicki Kirton of Jasonville. He is a graduate of Sullivan High School and a quality inspector with CSN, LLC.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father.
Claudia Marratta was honor attendant.
Josh Clark was best man. Dustin Lemmon and John Dylan McDonnall were ushers.
Mary Paige Mason was flower girl. Ernest Cooley was ring bearer.
A reception followed in the Elk’s Country Club in Sullivan.
The couple took a wedding trip to Twin Lakes in Colorado and now reside in Sullivan.
Stewart—Edwards
Amber Stewart and Zach Edwards, both of Terre Haute, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. on April 7, 2007, in Faithful Hearts Chapel in Terre Haute.
The Rev. Faith Maher officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Nina Shafer and Warren Shafer of Terre Haute. She also is an optometric technician.
The bridegroom is the son of JoEllen and Lawrence Edwards of Paris, Ill. He is employed by Sony DADC as an operator.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Jessy Wilkey was honor attendant.
Josh Tolbert was best man.
Alexis Stewart was flower girl.
A reception followed in Hungarian Hall.
The couple took a wedding trip to Indianapolis and now reside in Terre Haute.
