Lucas-Sinders
Rachel Michelle Lucas and Justin Stearley Sinders were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 21, 2006, in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield.
The Rev. Kevin Haines officiated. Music was provided by trumpeter Mike McCourt and pianist Celia Perillo.
Doug Ream and Katie Stark read Scripture.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Kim Lucas and Bernice Lucas of Carmel. She is a 2001 graduate of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, and a 2005 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle with a degree in biochemistry. She is a research technician for Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Shari Sinders of Clay City. He is a 2000 graduate of Clay City High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington with degrees in accounting and finance. He is an accountant with BKD, LLC in Indianapolis.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Lee Anne McKelvey of Charlotte, N.C., was honor attendant. Jen Brandt and Alyssa Kelley, both of Carmel, and Amanda Hirschfield of Cincinnati were the bridesmaids.
Chip Sinders of Washington, D.C., and brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.
Michael Lucas of Carmel, brother of the bride, and Kyle Thompson of Clay City, Will Mitchell of Carmel and Kevin Royer of Washington, D.C., were groomsmen.
Demi Wolfe of Clay City and Callie Ream of Center Point, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls.
Alexandria Wolfe of Clay City and Jenna Ream of Center Point, nieces of the bridegroom, handed out programs. Hunter Wolfe of Clay City, nephew of the bridegroom, was gift attendant.
A dinner-dance reception followed in the Marriott North in Indianapolis.
The couple took a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, and now reside in Indianapolis.
