Danielle Elizabeth Jenkins and Christopher Scott Wright of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 29, 2006, in Cross Tabernacle in Terre Haute.
The Rev. John Lawson officiated. Music was provided by pianist and vocalist Carrie Cannon and vocalists Dan Cannon, Jamie Pounds and Rich Conley.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Annette Jenkins of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Midwest Christian Academy and is pursuing a degree in early childhood education at Ivy Tech Community College. She is employed by Kohl’s Department Store.
The bridegroom is the son of Tom Wright and fiancee Cheryl Ugo and Starlette and Dale Smith, all of Terre Haute. He is a graduate of Grace Baptist Church School and employed by Ivy Hill Packaging.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Jamie Pounds was honor attendant. Jessica Bean, cousin of the bride, and Micah Sherrill, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. Allison, Abigail and Alexis Sherrill, all nieces of the bride, were junior bridesmaids.
Matt Shewmaker, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Nate Jenkins, brother of the bride, and Jimmy Harness, cousin of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.
Steve Sherrill, brother-in-law of the bride, and Jim Julian, cousin of the bridegroom, were ushers.
Ethan Morgan was ring bearer. Paige Morgan was flower girl.
Jamie Pounds was hostess of a bridal shower.
A buffet and dance reception followed in O’Shaughnessy Hall at St. Mary-of-the-Woods. The couple took a wedding trip to St. Petersburg, Fla., and now reside in Terre Haute.
