Ringer-Tuttle
Mary Beth Ringer and Dr. Michael Douglas Tuttle were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Oct. 21, 2006, in First Presbyterian Church in Farmersburg.
The Rev. Dick Jones officiated. Crossroads Brass provided the music and Shanna Young was vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Wally and Veronica Ringer of Farmersburg. She is a 2000 graduate of North Central Jr. Sr. High School in Farmersburg, and a 2002 graduate of Indiana University Purdue University School of Dental Assisting. She is employed by Alpine and Rafetto Orthodontics in Wilmington, Del.
The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Barbara Tuttle of Eaton. He is a 2003 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. He is employed as an oral maxillofacial surgery resident for Christiana Care Hospital in Wilmington.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Emily Morrison was honor attendant. Wendi Burns, Nikki Ringer and Tracie Tuttle were bridesmaids.
Terry Schwer was best man. Terrance Ziechmer, Monty Tuttle and Jeff Tuttle were
groomsmen.
Matt Ringer and Eric Hardy were ushers and candle lighters.
Dillon Tuttle was ring bearer. Molly, Brittany and Brandi Tuttle were flower girls.
Pam Belfi was reader and Darla Belfi was guest book attendant.
A reception followed in the Country Club of Terre Haute. Music was provided by Bryan Thomas.
The couple took a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and plan to live in Noblesville by summer of 2007.
Shorter-Childress
April L. Shorter of Sullivan and Jason R. Childress of Terre Haute were married at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7, 2006, in Central Presbyterian Church in Terre Haute.
The Rev. Mark Schimmel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Alice Shorter of Sullivan. She is a 2000 graduate of Sullivan High School, a 2004 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in elementary education. She is currently pursuing a master’s in elementary education and is employed as a social studies and language arts teacher for West Vigo Middle School.
The bridegroom is the son of George and Sandra Childress of Brazil. He is a 1995 graduate of North Vigo High School and a 2002 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in elementary education. He is employed as a computer teacher for West Vigo Middle School.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Ashley Pierce and Jacki Hobbs were honor attendants. Kristen Yilmaz, sister of the bridegroom, Andrea Mayfield, Ashley Somenzi and Lindsey Stewart were bridesmaids.
Aaron Childress, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Kyle Shorter, brother of the bride, Paul Huffman, Andy Guevara and Zach Thomson, and Brian Miller, cousins of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.
Tyler Kumf, Joe Michael, Kraig Ireland and Josh Dowell were ushers. Hayleigh Childress, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Darby Schimmel, cousin of the bridegroom and Ted Gambill, uncle of the bride were readers. Sindi Thompson, aunt of the bride, and Samantha Thompson, cousin of the bride, were guest book attendants.
A reception followed in St. George’s Social Center in Terre Haute.
A bridal shower was hosted by Darby Schimmel, Nancy Gettinger, Sherrie Pierce, Ashley Pierce, the bridegroom’s family and West Vigo Middle School.
The couple took a carnival cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, and now reside in Terre Haute.
