Weddings: March 2, 2008

Kibler-Bennett


Heidi Lynn Kibler and Ross William Bennett were united in marriage Nov. 24, 2007, in First Christian Church in Newman, Ill.

The Rev. Virgil Haynes and Pastor David Biggs officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Tory and Dennis Kibler of Newman. She is a 2004 graduate of Shiloh High School and a 2006 graduate of Parkland College. She is a medical administrative assistant at Carle Clinic in Champaign, Ill.

The bridegroom is the son of Debbie Ingram of Metcalf and the late Larry Bennett of Brocton, Ill. He is a 2002 graduate of Shiloh High School and a supervisor for Environmental Services and Solutions in Urbana, Ill.

Caryn Kibler, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Whitney Drake, Angie Allen, Mara Hampton and Shelly Evans were bridesmaids.

Derek Kibler, brother of the bride, was best man. Darryl Hall, Jason Allen, Logan Crum and Chris Bennett, cousins of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.

Vincent Bradbury and David Kibler, cousins of the bride, were ushers.

Pheobe Allen was flower girl. Jared Bennett, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed in the American Legion Post in Newman.

The couple now reside in Newman.



Swaby-Williams


Meredith Swaby and Eric Williams were united in marriage Nov. 9, 2007, at MaKena Cove Beach on Maui, Hawaii.

The bride is the daughter of Connie and Wally Swaby of rural Linton. She is a 1989 graduate of L&M High School, a 1993 graduate of Purdue University and holds a master of business administration degree from Indiana State University. She is a marketing manager for Clabber Girl Corp. in Terre Haute.

The bridegroom is the son of Pat and John Williams of Martinsville, Ill. He is a 1992 graduate of Martinsville High School and received his industrial maintenance degree from Ivy Tech Community College. He does industrial product design for Rowe Foundry, founded and operated by the Williams family for more than seven generations.

The couple now reside in Martinsville.
