Blackburn—Miller
Brandy Blackburn and Cary Miller of Marshall, Ill., were united in marriage on Nov. 12, 2006, in the Little Loft Wedding Chapel in Brown County near Nashville, Ind.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Blackburn of West Terre Haute. She is a 1994 graduate of West Vigo High School and earned a cosmetology degree in 2000 from Harrold Beauty Academy at Terre Haute. She was a utility worker/machine operator at Columbia House Warehouse for nine years and now works at An Oasis Hair and Nail Salon at Terre Haute.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Miller of Marshall. He is a 1995 graduate of Marshall High School. He was employed through a laborer union for several years in Illinois and is now a cranesman/crane operator at CSN in the Industrial Park.
The couple took a wedding trip to Columbus, Ind., before staying in a log cabin in Brown County. They also visited Nashville, Bloomington and Brown County State Park.
The couple celebrated with family and friends on Nov. 25 during a party in Knowles Auction Barn in Marshall. Music included a live band and karaoke. The bride’s father provided homemade chili.
The couple plan a wedding trip to Honolulu and Maui in March, and now reside in West Terre Haute.

Glenn—Shew
Leslie Leigh Glenn and Michael Loren Shew were united in marriage Oct. 12, 2006, on the beach in the Florida Keys.
The fall wedding took place at sunset on Islamorada Island.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Earl Glenn of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Ray Shew of rural Clinton.
The couple now reside in Nashville, Tenn.
