Weddings: Jan. 27, 2008

Gilliam-Bratcher


Jaime Lynn Gilliam and Billy Dean Bratcher were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, in the United Pentecostal Church in Rockville.

The Rev. Cliff Farley officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Betty and Joe Sollars of West Terre Haute. She is a 1996 graduate of West Vigo High School and is employed as a personal service associate at Vista Care Hospice.

The bridegroom is the son of Connie and Hank Arwood of Morris, Ill., and Larry Bratcher of Rockville. He is a 1994 graduate of Seneca High School in Seneca, Ill., and a mechanic at Illiana Truck Parts.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jessica Coleman was honor attendant. Stacie Weidner, Geneva and Jane Sollars, and McKennah Plunkett were bridesmaids.

John Royster was best man. Joey Sollars, Brian Jones and Griffin and Gavin Gilliam were groomsmen.

Justin Swartz was usher. Reese Sollars and Logan Jones were ring bearers. Nolee Sollars was flower girl.

Steve Elkins and Larry Bratcher were swordsmen.

A country-western reception followed in Clarks Reception Hall in Rockville. Janice Crowder, Freida Irwin, Laura Shattuck and Betty Sollars were assistants.

The couple took a wedding trip to a cabin in the woods and now reside in Terre Haute.



Phegley-Hurst


Jennifer Lynn Phegley and Kellen Rian Hurst, both of Indianapolis, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, in the First Christian Church of Brazil.

The Rev. Bob Witte officiated. Amy Duvall provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Joan and John Phegley of Terre Haute and has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.

The bridegroom is the son of Carole and Steve Hurst of Noblesville. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a project engineer for HNTB Corp. in Indianapolis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Rachelle Custis and Ashley Toney were honor attendants. Lisa Borgnini, Alisha Sonner, Tabitha Phegley, Michelle Creel, Samantha Soetaert, Amanda Daniel and Lauren Kriebel were bridesmaids.

Jeremy Hochstedler was best man. Jeff Ferrand, Josh Ballenger, Matt Salisbury, Adam Knaack, Yaw Aning, Joel Sackett, Nate Fansher and Matt Childs were groomsmen.

John and Josh Phegley, brothers of the bride, were ushers. Skylee Soetaert, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Ethan Kelsheimer, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

Showers were given by Rachelle Custis, Joan Lindsey and the mother of the bride.

A reception followed in O’Shaugnessey Dining Hall and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.

The couple took a wedding trip to Couple’s Swept Away Resort in Negril, Jamaica, and now reside in Indianapolis.



Waggoner-Reynolds


Cheryl Waggoner and Jason Reynolds were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in the Vigo County Courthouse.

Vigo County Clerk Patricia Mansard officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Charles Waggoner and Pamela Browne, both of Terre Haute. She attends Ivy Tech Community College and is employed by Clabber Girl.

The bridegroom is the son of Cathy and Dennis Grimes and Rusty Reynolds, all of Terre Haute. He also attends Ivy Tech and is employed by Honey Creek Mall.
