TERRE HAUTE Dorfmeyer—Ferrari

Kathleen Ann Dorfmeyer and Kent Curtis Ferrari were married on Sept. 16, 2006, in First Christian Church in Clinton.

The Rev. Danny Caulkins officiated. Alana Williams read a poem by E.E. Cummings.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Velann Dorfmeyer, a 1996 graduate of South Vermillion High School and an English teacher at Riverton Parke High School.

Ferrari is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ferrari and Shirley Ferrari. He also is a 1996 graduate of South Vermillion High School.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Carlye Dorfmeyer, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Elizabeth Pierce, Janel Bonomo, Sarah Vinyard, Kendra Conner, Sarah Roehm, Britainy Sholl and Cortney Staats were bridesmaids. Abby, Maggie and Emily Scully were junior bridesmaids. Sadie Roehm was flower girl.

Jackson Dowdy was the best man. Rick, Stan and Doug Ferrari, all brothers of the bridegroom, and Brett Turchi and Matthew Pierce were groomsmen. Josh Kersey, Kyle Kersey, Cole Mathas and Brandon Bekkering were ushers.

Stephanie Wilhoite, Erin Lewman, Caitlyn Martin and Brittany Ferrari, niece of the bridegroom, were guest attendants.

Caitlyn Martin and Brittany Ferrari, niece of the bridegroom, handed out rose petals after the ceremony.

A reception took place in the Clinton Recreation Center, the former Clinton High School gymnasium. Pam Cappa, Nancy Cappa and Teresa Lucas were servers.

A rehearsal dinner took place in the home of the bride’s parents and was catered by Nancy Walbring.

The couple took a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas at Los Cabos, Mexico, and now reside in Clinton.



Spice-Pearman–Winderlich

Gwendolyn Marie Spice-Pearman and Brent Tyson Winderlich of Indianapolis were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16, 2006, on property overlooking Hall’s Greenhouse in Bloomington.

The Rev. Mike Roth of Saron United Church of Christ in Linton officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Brad and Susan Spice of Terre Haute. She is a 1995 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana University. She works in the Commissioner’s Office of the Department of Workforce Development, State of Indiana.

The bridegroom is the son of Bernie and Maj. Sharon Winderlich, U.S. Air Force, currently stationed in Italy. He is a 1996 graduate of Bloomington South High School and a 2002 graduate of Wright State University. He also is a project manager with Entertainment Lighting Sound and AV at Indianapolis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Kathleen Unger was honor attendant. Amanda Spice and Elizabeth Spice, both sisters-in-law of the bride, were bridesmaids.

Chris O’Donell was best man. Randy Winderlich, brother of the bridegroom, and Will Spice and Jarrod Spice, both brothers of the bride, were groomsmen. Richard Hall and Bob Hall, cousins of the bride, were ushers.

Sophia Pearman, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl.

Baz, the family dog, was the ring bearer.

Carol and Steve Hall, aunt and uncle of the bride, hosted the wedding at their home and greenhouse.

A reception followed at Hall’s Greenhouse.

The couple took a camping wedding trip and now reside in Indianapolis.



Kellett—Kirby

Danielle Rae Kellett and Branden Edward Kirby were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 23, 2006, in First Baptist Church of Terre Haute.

The Rev. Larry Lilly officiated. A string quartet consisting of Shari Spicknall, Bryan Macke, Allison Edberg and Jennifer Wingert provided music. Danny Cannon and the bridegroom performed special vocals. A prose reading was written and presented by Beth Sollars, cousin of the bridegroom.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Pat Kellett of Terre Haute. She is a 1995 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana State University. She is employed by Mercy Health Group in Chesterfield, Mo.

The bridegroom is the son of Ed and Linda Kirby of Terre Haute. He is a 1988 graduate of Bible Baptist High School and a 1993 graduate of Indiana State University. He is employed by T.G. Rankin Co. in Chesterfield, Mo.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Kari Lawson and Stefanie Knott were honor attendants. Kori Nellis, Missy Smith and Jessica Zachary, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Christian Kirby, daughter of the bridegroom, and Tori Zachary, niece of the bridegroom, were junior bridesmaids.

Dustin Kirby, brother of the bridegroom, and Jonathan Lilly were best men. Danny Cannon, Dave McKay and Stephen Everhart were groomsmen. Jensen Kellett, nephew of the bride, and Tanner Zachary, nephew of the bridegroom, were junior groomsmen and ring bearers. Jay Kellett and Scot Kellett, brothers of the bride, Larry Evola, uncle of the bride, and Mark Willham were ushers.

Flower girls were Karlie Kellett, Jaycee Kellett, Kassidy Kellett and Jolee Kellett, nieces of the bride.

Erin Kellett, cousin of the bride, was the guest attendant.

A dinner and dance reception followed in Idle Creek Banquet Center.

In July, the bride’s honor attendants were hostesses of a Southern Living bridal shower at Indiana State University. Also, Jessica Zachary, sister of the bridegroom, Dereth Kirby, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Cathy Cottom, cousin of the bridegroom, and Sue Hayne, aunt of the bridegroom, hosted a personal bridal shower in the home of Linda Kirby.

Jennifer Kellett, sister-in-law of the bride, was hostess of a bachelorette party in her home on Sept. 9.

A wedding trip to the Caribbean is planned in February.

The couple reside in Chesterfield.



Robinson-Somerville

Molly Robinson and Brian Somerville were united in marriage on Sept. 23, 2006, in Holy Family Catholic Church at Brentwood, Tenn.

The Rev. Edward Alberts officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson of Franklin, Tenn. She is a graduate of Fairview High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Evansville. She teaches third grade at Hidden Oaks Elementary School in Boynton Beach, Fla.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William Somerville of Hillsdale. He is a graduate of South Vermillion High School and the University of Evansville. He received his master’s degree in May from Florida Atlantic University. He is a resident artist and teacher at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Raina Alwahab of Boston was honor attendant. Betsy Cofer of Indianapolis, Andrea Stowe of Evansville, Andrea Orr of Nashville, Tenn., Candace McAlister of Fairview, Tenn., and Jenny Somerville of Villanova, Pa., sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Alycia Maher of Marietta, N.Y., cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

Derek Wolfe of Indianapolis was best man. Shaun Cofer of Indianapolis, Neil Stowe of Evansville, Ryan Scott of Oceanside, Calif., Tyrail Cottrell of Clinton, Andrew Lee of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and Jesse Robinson of New York City, brother of the bride, were groomsmen.

Susanna and Adelle Fravell of Jasper, cousins of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Adam Gunion of Long Beach, Calif., and Kirk Donovan of Evansville were ushers.

Anna Marie Weisheit of Rockville, cousin of the bridegroom, was guest book attendant.

A dinner and dance reception followed in the Temple Hills Country Club in Franklin.

The bridegroom’s parents hosted a dinner in the Cool Springs House in Brentwood.

The couple reside in Boynton Beach.
