Hughes-Hubbell
Deanna Minette Hughes and Joshua Gregory Hubbell were united in marriage on Aug. 26, 2006, in a candlelight ceremony in Maryland Community Church in Terre Haute.
The Rev. Bud Hoard officiated. Singers Shannon and Dottie Morrison provided the music. The bridegroom sang to the bride during the exchange of their vows.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Shirley Hughes of Brazil. She is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute Christian School, a 2001 graduate of World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio, and a 2005 graduate of Indiana State University College of Nursing. She is a registered nurse.
The bridegroom is the son of Donna Pletch and Greg Hubbell of Linton. He is a 1994 graduate of Linton High School and a 1999 graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in diesel technology. He is employed at MacAllister Machinery Co. and is the associate pastor at Destiny Harvest, both at Terre Haute.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
D’Lee Wentz, sister of the bridegroom, was honor attendant. Chrystal Dawson of Ontario, Canada, Joy Broussard of Abbeville, La., and Leah Roybal of Whiteland were bridesmaids.
Jerome Hawkins was best man. Thad White, Michael Wentz, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Jordon Pletch, brother of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.
Garrett Miller and Shannon Morrison were ushers.
Savannah Hughes, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Dakota Hughes, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A buffet dinner and dance reception followed in the O’Shaughnessy Dining Hall of Providence Center at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
A shower was hosted by Connie Hughes, Ann McMurry and Lois Hughes. Another was hosted by D’Lee Wentz and Sheri Braselton. A third shower was given by members of Destiny Harvest.
The couple took a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii, and now reside in Linton.
Quirk-Lowey
Heather Dee Quirk and Jeremy Wesley Lowey, both of Indianapolis, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. July 15, 2006, in Allisonville Christian Church in Indianapolis.
The Revs. Bob Riester and Mike Parks officiated. Sam Perkins, Emily Myers and Sharon Bacon provided the music.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Peggy Quirk of Wingate. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications and public relations from Purdue University, and is employed by Adidas Sports Marketing.
The bridegroom is the son of Donna and the late Larry Lowey of Terre Haute. He graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School and holds a bachelor of science degree in business marketing from Indiana State University. He is employed by Reebok Sports Marketing.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Amber Hillis and Tanya Quirk, sister of the bride, were honor attendants. Kylene Crabb, Jessica Christenson, Amy Sigler, Mila Van Noy and Jamie Van Est were bridesmaids. Katie Peggs was a reader.
Isaac Ford was best man. Todd Kenworthy, Jason Wetzel, Mike Margason, Matt Griese, Griff Quirk and Cap Quirk were groomsmen.
Todd Kunz, Brad Vicars, Chris Novotney and Michael Flannery were ushers.
Gabrielle and Halle Daniels were flower girls. James Daniels was ring bearer.
A bridal shower was hosted by Newton Community Church in Newton. The bridesmaids hosted another shower in Indianapolis. A couples shower in Terre Haute was hosted by the parents of groomsman Todd Kenworthy.
A reception followed at Valle Vista Country Club in Indianapolis.
The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia Island and now reside in Indianapolis.
Agnew—Schalburg
Kristin Agnew and Rob Schalburg, both of West Terre Haute, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. June. 17, 2006, in Emmanuel United Methodist Church in West Terre Haute.
The Rev. Jeanne Winters officiated. Robert Agnew Jr., uncle of the bride, provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Penny Gardner of West Terre Haute. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Indiana State University and is a Head Start teacher in Ada, Ohio.
The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Pam Schalburg of West Terre Haute. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana State University and is a third-year law student at Ohio Northern University in Ada.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Kim Kesler, sister of the bridegroom, was honor attendant. Amber Gardner, sister of the bride, Ashley Weir and Tara Elmore were bridesmaids. Sara Hein, cousin of the bride, was junior bride.
Mike Schalburg, father of the bridegroom, was best man. Brian Chessir, Dennis Kesler, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Charles Roach were groomsmen. Ethan Kesler, nephew of the bridegroom, and Zachary Hein, cousin of the bride, were junior bridegrooms.
Jeff Agnew and Chris Gardner, brothers of the bride, and Corey Schalburg, cousin of the bridegroom, were ushers.
Krista Kane, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Ethan Kesler, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
Katelyn Schalburg and Breighann Wellman, cousins of the bridegroom, were guestbook attendants.

The couple took a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and now reside in Ada.
