Mr. and Mrs. Harold Staggs
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Staggs of Terre Haute will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in the Kerman Grotto at West Terre Haute.
Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards with a memory or pictures are welcome.
The couple were married Sept. 18, 1948, in St. Ann Church by the Rev. James Hickey.
Mrs. Staggs, the former Peggy Holmes, worked at Hulman & Co., St. Anthony Hospital coffee shop and the Vigo County School Corp. cafeteria.
Staggs worked at Tumpane Co. and retired from General Housewares Corp.
The couple have four children, Janet Campbell and husband Glen, Mickey Staggs, Linda Johnson and husband Guy, and Mike Staggs and wife Lori.
They also have 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
