Bistate beef seminar is Thursday

COVINGTON — A bistate beef seminar, “Feeding – What’s Available?” and dinner, is planned for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Beef House Restaurant, 16501 Indiana 63, Covington. Purdue Extension specialists will discuss managing the beef herd this winter and forage- management plans for the year.

Cost is $20 and includes the dinner and program. The program is open to everyone interested in beef cattle production. Pre-registration is required by contacting Phil Cox, Vermillion County Extension, at (765)492-5335 or by emailing cox119@purdue.edu by Tuesday.
