Color run raises funds for United Way

---- — More than 560 walkers and runners took part in the inaugural Color Run on the Rise on Sept. 21. The event raised $9,404.31 to help with critical programming provided by the United Way of the Wabash Valley.

All proceeds will be used to support programming provided by United Way community partners. Some of the programs in Vermillion County that receive funding from the United Way include Valley Child Development Center, Kid Kare, Catholic Charities and Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled.
