Sunday Brunch Live coming up Aug. 4

Providence Spirituality and Conference Center, the welcoming center for the Sisters of Providence, will host Sunday Brunch Live on Aug. 4 at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Mix FM 100.7 radio station will broadcast live from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Giveaways will be offered and door prizes will be drawn hourly.

Door prizes include free brunch tickets and items made by Sisters of Providence from The Gift Shop at Providence Center.

Visitors can enjoy Sunday Brunch, which has been honored the past four years by the Tribune-Star’s Readers’ Choice Award. It features abundant breakfast choices, fresh salads, made-to-order waffles and omelets, and a varied selection of lunch entrees, in the O’Shaughnessy Dining Room. Pricing information is available at www.provcenter.org.

The Sisters also will be conducting their annual Used Book Sale. Visitors may choose from hundreds of books and media across a wide range of topics. The book sale runs Aug. 3-11 in Providence Center, and all proceeds support ministries of the Sisters of Providence. The Gift Shop will also be conducting an indoor sidewalk sale.

Visitors also may tour the grounds, pray at the shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, visit the alpacas or reflect at one of the many chapels or shrines.

“We enjoy being able to give something back to our regular customers with the yearly Sunday Brunch Live,” said Linda Malooley, associate director of Providence Center.
