Lincoln Trail College to offer Valentine wine class

ROBINSON, Ill. — Lincoln Trail College will offer community members an opportunity to learn the basics of wine tasting, wine and food pairing techniques, and the history of the grapes used in each wine on Feb. 5 at the college in Robinson, Ill.

Instructor Joy Neighbors will present “A Special Wine for Your Valentine: Red, White, Sparkle or Chocolate” from 6 to 8 p.m. at Palestine’s Main Street Bistro.

No previous wine knowledge is required for the workshop, but it is designed for people with a serious interest in wine. All participants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid form of identification.

The non-credit workshop is $25 per person. To register, or for more information, contact Community Service at 618-544-8657, Ext. 1130.
