Workshop on Ancestry Library Edition set

MARSHALL, ILL. — Learn the basics of using the online computer program Ancestry Library Edition at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Marshall Public Library’s Dale McConchie meeting room.

Library staff members Edie Breneman and Jamie Poorman will show patrons how to navigate the powerful web-based genealogy tool. They will demonstrate how to start researching a family tree and what to do with the information. The free program will also help participants avoid the 10 most common mistakes made by beginning genealogy researchers.
