TERRE HAUTE — Pvt. Jeffrey M. Hall has completed U.S. Army basic training and advanced infantry training at Fort Benning, Ga.

Hall is the son of Toby and Bobbi Banta of Terre Haute and Jeff and Kristi Hall of Greensburg. Hall is a 2012 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School.

Hall has been assigned to the 1st armored division at Fort Bliss, Texas.



Army PV-2 Rokxton Carter of Rosedale graduated from basic training on April 25 at Fort Jackson, S.C.

Carter is the son of Teresa Meadlo; and grandson of Paul and Kay Meadlo, all of Rosedale, Lavina and John Peterson of Duncan, Okla., and Mary Foster of Veedersburg.

Carter is now in AIT at Fort Jackson as a 91B light wheeled vehicle mechanic. He will be home in August.



Max Reisinger, a February 2013 Terre Haute North graduate, left for boot camp on March 4. He graduated from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif., on May 31. Upon returning home, Reisinger attended the 2013 Terre Haute North Vigo High School graduation, where he was awarded the honor of receiving his diploma in his Marine Corps dress blue uniform. He will be in the area for a couple weeks before leaving for training at the School of Infantry West to become a Security Forces Marine.



Eric Michael Bridgewater graduated from Naval bootcamp on May 31 and is now in Pensacola, Fla., for his “A” School.

Bridgewater graduated from West Vigo High School in 2012.

He is following his dream and following the footsteps of his late great grandfather Robert Dexter.

He is married to Shelbi Bridgewater, son of Tracy Miller, and brother of Amanda Bridgewater.
