Free baby shower for uninsured, underinsured moms

TERRE HAUTE — Bluebelle’s Baby Shower, a free event for expectant moms, is scheduled noon to 2:30 p.m. July 27 in St. Patrick Church’s Moran Family Life Center at 18th and Thompson streets.

The shower, one of many staged annually throughout the state, is funded by MDwise, Indiana’s only not-for-profit managed health care company exclusively serving many of the state’s most underserved citizens – Hoosier children and adults who are uninsured or underinsured.

Lunch will be served and child care is available on a limited basis. There will be traditional games and prizes and a health fair with educational presentations on prenatal and infant care, plus gifts for mom and baby.

Attendees should register in advance by calling or texting Becky at 812 250-8690.
