Program to educate military families Nov. 16

---- — A Joint Services Exceptional Family Member Forum and Resource Fair is scheduled 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at Ivy Tech Community College — Wabash Valley, 8000 S. Education Drive.

Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m. with the opening session from 9 to 9:45.

This program will educate military families on resources that are available for children or adults with any physical, emotional, developmental or intellectual disorder that requires special treatment, therapy, education, training or counseling.

Learn about assistance with asthma, ADHD, IEP’s, Wounded Warriors, diabetes, hypertension, autism, advocacy, respite care, Vehicle Assistive Technology, employment, adult specialty services, medical rehabilitation, home modification and more.

The event is open to all full-time and traditional service members and families from all active duty, Reserve and National Guard branches, and retirees.
