Purdue Extension to present ‘Forage Management for Beef Producers’ Nov. 11

---- — The Purdue Extension is offering a program titled “Forage Management for Beef Producers” for those who want to learn about the best winter forage management practices, the nutritional quality of forages and related issues. It will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Clay County Fairgrounds, 6656 N. Indiana 59, Brazil.

Ron Lemenager, Purdue professor of animal sciences and Purdue Area V Extension educator, will discuss forage evaluation and testing, utilizing forage test results and purchasing forages. This program will help beef producers fine-tune nutritional and management regimens to be considered for optimal performance.
