The Terre Haute yarn shop River Wools is sponsoring a World Wide Knit in Public Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Max Ehrmann Plaza, at Seventh Street and Wabash Avenue.
Bring knitting, lunch and a lawn chair (there are a few benches) and join the group for mid-day knitting (crochet or a portable loom works also).
World Wide Knit in Public Day was started in 2005. It began as a way for knitters to come together (since knitting is generally a solitary act) and enjoy each other’s company.
