Pet Pals TV to feature pets from Terre Haute

Pet Pals TV, a weekly pet news magazine show, will begin airing on My FOX 10 Terre Haute at 9 a.m. July 13.

Pet Pals TV celebrates the bond between pets and people. Each episode is packed with emotional stories, showing how pets improve lives. The program also saves homeless pets with local adopt-a-pet profiles.

Pet Pals TV is actively seeking businesses in the Wabash Valley to help promote a local “Adopt-a-Pet” segment, which would feature animals from the Terre Haute Humane Society.

Call 800-285-6868 to learn more about helping in the project.

“We are very excited to be able to partner with Pet Pals. We know it will help us save lives,” said Charles Brown, shelter manager for the Terre Haute Humane Society.

Pet Pals TV is produced by a team of broadcast news professionals. Emmy award-winner Patty Spitler and Paul Poteet host the show each week, showcasing stories from reporters and photographers across the country.

The weekly “Know Your Breed” segment educates viewers on dog breed differences. Dr. Cathy, Pet Pals TV’s exclusive vet, takes a holistic approach to pet nutrition. She shares the latest tips and trends to keep pets healthy.

Any pet can be a star on the show. Pet Pals TV features Facebook fan photos in “Your Pet’s The Star” segments.

In addition to Terre Haute, Pet Pals TV airs weekly in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Marion markets in Indiana and in Dayton, Ohio, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Louisville Ky., markets. More stations will be joining the Pet Pals TV family this fall. Pet Pals TV stories are also online on its YouTube channel and PetPalsTV.com.
