ENGAGEMENTS: Sept. 2, 2012

Myers-Myers

Taylor Lynn Myers and Dylan Keverick Alan Wayne Myers will be united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, in Shakamak State Park at Jasonville, Ind.  

The bride-elect is the daughter of Nora Myers of Jasonville, and Cary and Angie Myers of Jasonville. She is a 2012 graduate of Shakamak High School and a freshman pursuing a degree in nursing at Indiana State University.  

Dylan is the son of Edna Myers of Madison, Ind., Norietta Myers and Grover Young of Jasonville, and the late Carl Myers. He is a 2008 graduate of Shakamak High School, serves in the Indiana National Guard, and is a correctional officer at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle.



Schinkel-Arnold

Jackie Lee Schinkel and Ryan David Arnold of Terre Haute will be united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Memorial Labyrinth in Hawthorn Park.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Wonda and James Schinkel of Terre Haute and a 2006 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School. She attended Harrison College and has an associate’s degree in applied science and certificate in medical office. She is employed by Providence Medical Group.

Arnold is the son of Cheryl Clements and Robert Arnold of Terre Haute and a 2004 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. He is a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters, Local 157 and plans to graduate in 2013 from Ivy Tech Community College.

Adkins-Allee

Jennifer Ashleigh Adkins and Brandon Eric Allee are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Jennifer is the daughter of Leigh Ann Bow and David and Helen Adkins, all of Spencer. She is a 2003 graduate of Owen Valley High School and a 2007 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing, graduating with cum laude honors. She is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Indiana University Morgan in Martinsville, Ind.

Brandon is the son of Dawn Allee of Terre Haute, and Gary and Penny Allee of Brazil. He is a 2000 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and a 2011 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College. He is a Banbury operator at General Cable in Indianapolis and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1048.

The wedding will be in the Clubhouse at The Fields in Bloomington, Ind., on Sept. 15, 2012, at 5:30 p.m.
