Farm Management Program set

Purdue Extension is hosting a Farm Management Program on Feb. 11 to address questions about crop insurance and other legal issues involved in farming.

The program includes several speakers: Chris Hurt, Purdue University Agricultural Economics Department, starts the evening with a market outlook. Michelle Steinbarger of ProAg will address the benefits of crop insurance and how it works. Gerald Harrison, Purdue University Agricultural Economics Department, will conclude the evening with aspects of farm management, including Indiana fencing laws and tiling rights.

The Farm Management Program will begin at 6 p.m. at the Clay County Exhibit Hall, south of Brazil on Indiana 59. Light refreshments will be provided.
