CASY plans Orientation I and II training


News Release

TERRE HAUTE — Community Alliance and Services for Young Children, better known as CASY, provides Orientation I training for those interested in becoming a licensed child care provider, and Orientation II training for licensed Family Child Care Providers.

Orientation I is part one of two trainings on opening a child care site. It is a start-up workshop for those interested in opening a Licensed Family Child Care Home, Licensed Child Care Center or Unlicensed Registered Ministry.  

Learn about basic health, safety and start-up requirements, plus information on the different types of child care programs in Indiana. Orientation I will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 6 in Booker T. Washington Community Center at 1101 S. 13th St.

Orientation II is part two of two trainings for those interested in opening a Licensed Home, Licensed Center or Unlicensed Registered Ministry. Learn about licensing regulations and what steps to take in the process. Orientation II will be available from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 23, also in Washington Community Center.
