PARIS, ILL. —
As part of Home Community Education Week, the Edgar County Association for Home Community Education will host its International Night at 6 p.m. CDT on Tuesday in the 4-H Building at Paris, Ill.
This year’s countries of study are Trinidad and Tobago; the event includes guest speakers from both countries. The husband-and-wife team are students at the University of Illinois. He is from Trinidad and she is from Tobago. There will be sample food from both countries.
There also will be a cultural arts display of projects made by members. Participants are encouraged to vote for their favorite quilt and other handmade items. Winners will be displayed at the association’s state conference in March.
All HCE members are encouraged to bring guests to the free program; other interested people do not have to be members to attend.
