Karen Lee Wells and William “Bill” Thomas Webb were united in marriage June 2, 2012, in Christ Community Church at Brazil.
Pastor Richard Laskowski officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joan Wells and the late Richard Wells. She is a graduate of Indiana State University with degrees in English/world civilization, early childhood/kindergarten, library science, and educational technology. She is the media specialist at Lost Creek Elementary School in the Vigo County School Corp.
The bridegroom is the son of the late James and Mary Webb of Elwood. He is a graduate of Porter College, receiving a degree in business administration and data processing. He recently retired as a programmer analyst for Mason and Hanger Corp. at the Newport Chemical Depot in Newport.
The wedding party included eight flower girls: Lily Flora, Erin Hines, Sydney Linton, Chloe Loughmiller, Sami Miller, Mae Tyler, Joanna Webb and Ashley Wright.
Readers were Joanne Stetler and the Rev. Gary Scroggins. Communion servers were John Fisher and Andy Ooley.
Music was provided by the Christ Community Church Worship Team (Norm Hanson, Cathy Seward, Donna Jones, Cheyenne Bussing, Jeremy Bussing, Jordan Bussing, Laura Plummer, Melissa Maginity, R.J. Neice, Kenny Ripple and Jim Thistle) along with Tammy Greenwood, David Loughmiller, Jason Pell, Cheryl Rissler, Neil Rissler, Michael Webb and David Henry.
Flowers were done by Mandy Loughmiller. Sue Short assisted guests in signing the wedding scroll with helpers Kathy Deal and Susan Eisman. Special helpers included Donna Jones, Sue Loughmiller, Dave Evans, Ettie Evans, Laura Plummer, Cheyenne Bussing, Cathy Seward, Holli Jones, Kaci Jones, Kaylee Edington, Emilee Edington, Debbie Heiliger, Denise Buck, Erin Moore, Judy Fatch, Cindy Miller and Jordyn Flora.
The catered dinner reception took place at the North Clay Middle School Commons in Brazil. Special helpers were JoLyn Graf, Shelia Pennington, Jennifer Laskowski and Carol Edington.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii and now resides in Brazil.
Elise R. Isles and Jeffrey B. Taylor were united in marriage June 30, 2012, in Kill Devil Hills, N.C.
The Rev. Lona Luce officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Lenny and Patricia Isles of Terre Haute and the late Rena Isles. She is a 1995 graduate of West Vigo High School and a 2000 graduate of Indiana State University. She is employed at the city clerk’s office in Terre Haute.
The bridegroom is the son of Kent and Connie Taylor of Kentland, Ind. He is a 1995 graduate of South Newton High School and a 1999 graduate of Saint Joseph’s College. He is employed at Wiemuth and Son in Terre Haute.
The couple exchanged vows on the beach in front of family and close friends. A dinner reception took place on July 14, 2012, at Idle Creek Banquet Center in Terre Haute.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to New York City and now reside in Terre Haute.
